The West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) has a dedicated Medicines Optimisation programme which can support you in providing the best care for patients, introduce you to new resources, provide education and learning opportunities and ultimately help to reduce harm from medication.

About this event:

Medicines, we know, have saved and improved the lives of millions of people. However, as more and more people live longer with multiple long-term conditions, the number of medicines they take increases. This can have a significant burden on the person managing, and trying to adhere to, multiple medicines regimes. It can also be harmful.
